Minesh Patel is the founder of Xero54, He is an Initiative-taking and Visionary Senior Physician Executive with two decades of clinical, operational and leadership experience, with an impressive record of delivering high quality health care, improving patient experience, and reducing total cost of care. He has a proven ability to create a positive organizational culture and alignment and engage physicians and team members. He has received his Doctor of Medicine training at WellSpan Health, Penn State Medicine and his Master of Health Administration at Cornell University. He believes in impact investing in early-stage seed rounds within the healthcare technology realm, dedicated to building a socially responsible healthcare system. He is a fellow at TEDMED, a Red Bear Angel member and a Startup mentor at Cornell Tech.
Technology is changing the healthcare (HC) landscape and vice versa. This made him eager to cultivate his own investment vehicle to fasten the pace of innovation and disrupt traditional HC delivery models. Focus on building innovative technologies around a socially responsible healthcare system that is physician and patient centric.
Our goal at Xero54 is to invest in 50+ Healthcare technology startups by 2030, give back to the community and address the knowledge gaps that exist within healthcare. As a way to create a more sustainable approach to capitalism 5% of the returns from Xero 54’s annual funds will be donated back or re-invested in technologies and programs that support innovations around climate change, ocean acidification and renewable energies.
